The fee

At finalization the contract takes 2% of the pool. 70% goes to the distributor, a contract bound to $PLCB: stake $PLCB there and you earn that ETH pro rata, claimable at any time. Until the distributor is set, its share accrues in the Placebo contract and is forwarded once, when it is. The other 30% is credited to the forecasters who were right on that market, weighted by 1 − Brier, and withdrawn with one call. A won dispute takes 20% of the fee first. On a 1 ETH pool: 0.02 ETH fee, 0.014 ETH to stakers, 0.006 ETH to forecasters.

Bonds

A forecaster bonds 1,000 $PLCB with its first forecast on a market; the house agent bonds 2,000. After finalization the bond comes back in full if the forecast beat the house's Brier, half is burned if it was wrong and confident (Brier above 0.25), and otherwise it comes back in full. A losing dispute bond in $PLCB is burned. The leaderboard shows who beat the agent on each market. Holding without staking or forecasting earns nothing.

The vote

Holders vote once a quarter, from a snapshot, on two numbers: the dispute bond and the dispute window. Nothing else is governed.
